Best Delivery Pizza in Boston

It’s a well-known fact that Boston has great pizza. Whether it’s an authentic pizzeria in the city’s famous Little Italy, or a more creative fusion style pie, you’ll have plenty to choose from when ordering delivery pizza in Beantown. With so much choice, where do you begin? Fortunately for you, we’ve done extensive research (also known as extensive pizza eating) and have narrowed it down to these five.

Crush Pizza

With any pizza place, it all comes down to the crust, and the team at Crush have perfected the extra-thin variety that either needs to be folded in half, or slowly lowered into your mouth vertically – technique is everything. You can choose your own toppings if that’s what you’re into, but we highly recommend the signature pizzas, such as the Bourbon BBQ Chicken pizza or the Tasty Steak (grilled marinated steak, caramelized onions, gorgonzola, cream sauce and a drizzle of balsamic).

Pinocchio’s Pizza & Subs

We’ll start by admitting that Pinocchio’s isn’t technically in Boston, but this Cambridge favorite is too good to be left off our list. Well loved by Harvard students and locals alike for their cheap and cheerful atmosphere, Pinocchio’s specialize in Sicilian style pizza, so expect deep-dish square slices that are crispy on the outside, while soft and fluffy on the inside. The toppings are simple but fresh, with a build-your-own style so you can mix and match to your heart’s content.

Brewer’s Fork

While the delivery menu at Brewer’s Fork features a variety of upscale pub fare from charcuterie boards to a wagyu beef burger, they’re best known for their signature pizzas loaded with toppings that can only be described as extra. Think bacon jam, wood-roasted meatballs, pork cracklins or even local clams, all atop a slightly charred wood-fired crust that’s the perfect combination of crisp and chewy.

Regina Pizzeria

There’s often a long line of hungry pizza fans outside of Regina Pizzeria, so it’s a good thing they offer delivery. The perfectly crust is so loaded with toppings that the pizzas often arrive literally overflowing, so don’t be surprised if you end up scooping up extra piles of cheese and toppings from the box – just them back on top of your slice and enjoy. For the ultimate Regina experience, try The Giambotta, which comes with more toppings than could ever be considered reasonable.

Florina Pizzeria & Paninoteca

Our vote for the best delivery pizza in Boston goes to Florina Pizzeria & Paninoteca, who also happen to be multi-time ‘Best Pizza’ winners at the Boston Pizza Festival. You can create your own pizza or choose from tasty combinations such as chicken, pesto and oven dried tomato, or broccoli rabe and cannellini bean. Florina also happens to be the only pizza place on our list that offers pizza by the slice on their delivery menu, which is perfect if you’re ordering for one or can’t choose between pizza and Florina’s signature grilled panini (this post is about pizza but you should really try the Cubano panini).
